As with many games, beginning to play Farmville is fairly. The idea is a no-brainer - plow your small plot of land, plant your seeds, watch your crops grow, then harvest them when ripe. If you are ready to be away from your computer for the next 8 hours, for example, you won't want to plant a crop that will be ready to pick in 4 hours because the plants will wilt and gain you no money whatsoever. Take the time to think about what crops could work for you. Another tip that many people miss out on - pick crops that have a longer growth cycle. These type of crops bring in more money and experience points once harvested.
Don't Forego the Added Prizes You Get from Ribbons
Every single new ribbon that you receive also brings you additional funds or a handy tool that you can use on your farm. It is a great idea to announce that you have won a ribbon on the wall of your Facebook account so you can share your earned bonus with your neighbors. Nothing does more to build your ties to your neighbors and when they earn ribbons in the future, they'll likely return the favor.
